• Her catchphrase is “Non, Non, Non, Non, GanbaruNon ♪ Kyaha. I’m Kimoto Kanon, a **year middle schooler, ** years old”. It was invented by Satou Mieko.

• A young Ace to whom is entrusted Team E’s center position. “A Stage built up by the Team is the place where we can grow the most. Correcting our mistakes day by day, I’d like everyone to strongly deside the Team’s growth”.
  Her love for the Team is strong.
  Her current goal is: “To perform a Stage in Akihabara”.

• Her boldness is recognized by Yuasa-san. Apparently no matter how huge a theatre may be, she won’t get agitated.  According to her: “I never happened to feel nervous”.

Childhood

• She was born on 11\08\1997.  She was really small, her weight was only 2000g.
  She has two big brothers, of 18 and 21 years old.

• About the origins of her name. “Even before I was born, my mom and dad used to call me [Non-chan], but since it was too common to let it derive from the name [Nozomi], they chose [Kanon]”.

• In the plays she did during her period in the nursery school, she always played supporting characters. She was cheerful and didn’t have problems standing in front of an audience, but at that time she didn’t have the kind of personality that would let her announce her candidacy for main roles.

• She attended a cram school, she studied　abacus and practised dance. She started practising HipHop and cheerleading from the 5th year of primary school but those are totally different kind of dance from SKE48’s. That’s why dance is not her speciality. 

• Since she was a kid she admired Idols, and when she was an elementary schooler her dream was already that of becoming one. She started to think seriously about becoming an Idol during the upper grades of primary school.

• From the 4th to the 6th year of primary school she was a member of the Basketball club.
  
  
• After becoming a middle schooler she started liking AKB48 and she even went to handshake events. Since SKE48 often appeared on the AKB48 shows she used to watch, she started being interested in them too. After that, she had her mother buying the Te wo tsunagi nagara Stage DVD. Watching it, she thought “They’re cool, I want to join too!”, so when she knew about the auditions for the 4th generation, thinking “Here it is! This is my chance!” she applied too

• She doesn’t have a SKE48 Oshimen. “I’m a DD (Daredemo suki - likes everyone). My seniors shine and I admire them all”.  Her AKB48 Oshimen is Minegishi Minami. “Because she can talk well, she’s cute and kind”.
