In their lectures, the proud (?) members of the “2D enthusiasts association” will address topics such as manga or anime, discussing the value of “2D works” from their own point of view as to present them to adults unfamiliar with the subject. To kick off this corner, the first teaching material to have been picked is the lately famous manga, which has been adapted into anime too, 「Kuroshitsuji」 (Square Enix). To my surprise, it seems Matsui-san had not read it until now.
Matsui Rena - Exact. But I read the 1st two volumes we lent me and got interested in knowing what happens next. But, the hero’s butler, Sebastian, didn’t make a strong impression on me, I much preferred Ciel. I can’t get enough of him in white shirt, suits him so well!
- But isn’t Sebastian wearing a white shirt more often than Ciel? He is a butler after all…
Matsui - Well…. I prefer the sense of purity that comes off of Ciel in white shirt. But to tell the truth I also have a thing for slender silhouettes and I like cute young male characters.
Nakanishi Yuka - Something like 「I can’t get to like adults」?
Matsui - Tha- That’s not it! True that lately there is this rumor 「Suspicions about Matsui Rena loving shota」 spreading among the girls and members of the staff….
- In other manga, what kind of male character do you like?
Matsui - In 「Arakawa under the bridge」, I yearn after the good-for-nothing side of the protagonist. And when he regressed to an infantile stage, he somehow looked like Ciel, he was so adorable then!!

Furukawa Airi - No, a friend lent me his/her books so I read it. It’s just that I like bishoujo so… Ah, but in the 2nd volume Ciel cross-dresses as a girl and gets blindfolded, he is even tied up. That set my heart on fire~♥.

Nakanishi - I like the setting and how England is depict in the books. I’m subjugated by the characters clothes and hairstyles.
Hiramatsu - I also love how cute the Gothic style of 「Kuroshitsuji」 is! Simply looking at the art is fun!
Matsui - The style sure is popular among girls.
Nakanishi - Simply, when you start reading it with certain expectations… it can turn to be a bit hazardous (laugh).
Furukawa - Hum. But if you’re of those who enjoy the atmosphere and characters in manga then it’s ok.
- Chances are the title was initially planed for a short serialization. Thus the development seems a bit awkward , no?
Hiramatsu - But if you keep reading, the story gets better. I’d say the it really becomes interesting in volume 3, maybe?
Nakanishi - I’d rather say in volume 4~
Matsui - Well, everybody will enjoy the story according to his or her won taste!

This time, as a substitute for Matsui Rena, we welcome a new participant, Team KII Takayanagi Akane for the 3rd edition of this corner. The 1st episode had for theme 「Kuroshitsuji」(Square Enix), the 2nd was about 「Hakuouki」(Idea Factory), even though both are pieces with great popularity, none had seemed to awaken the interest of Furukawa-san, who consequently only shared with us her thoughts on the subjects in 2 or 3 words…
Furukawa Airi - True. But being a “bishoujo ota”, there is nothing I can do about that.
Given the situation, I chose a subject tailor made for Furukawa-san this time. Rumor has it boys around Japan have been infatuated with this title since its release last June : the communication game 「Love Plus +」! The fundamental aspects of the game are the same as the previous opus 「Love Plus」 (both produced by Konami), release in September of last year. Could you tell us then where lies the charm of a game such as 「Love Plus +」?
Furukawa - In tasting the realistic “feeling of having a girlfriend”. Until now in this type of game if you managed to make the heroine your girlfriend you reached the happy ending… and that was the end of the party. Here once you start dating the game continues! Time flows in parallel in our world and in the game, it keeps on matching real time and even seasons. There are also a lot of systems making use DS various functions, for example using the mic you can talk directly with the heroine, or you can brush her face or breast with the touch pen. Hiramatsu - First of all during stages performance I’ve decided to shift from foot to foot lightly. And to go like 「Well~ You see~」.
Nakanishi - ‘knew it! Told you that was annoying…
- By the way, how would you react if your own boyfriend was playing 「Love Plus」?
Hiramatsu - Absolutely no way! 「Why are you not looking at Kana only?! That’s it, I break up with you~!! (tears)」… That’s how I’d be.
Takayanagi - If we were to play when we are together I’d think 「Well, since I’m playing too that’s ok」. But I’d be against him playing by himself!
Furukawa - Usually, isn’t it supposed to be the other way around? (laugh) I personally believe flirting is irresistible in 2D like in 3D world so I don’t really mind. But 2D and 3D are different stories.
Nakanishi - Airin… unexpectedly realist of you (laugh).
A pity Rena wasn’t part of the Love Plus talk, since she’s really into it and and her Rinko X°D

Like almost every episode, it all begins from Kana talking about something.
And this time, that “something” is…
Kana: You know, recently I became unable to perform on Stages so I just watched the Team S’ Stage rehearsal. It was the first time I got to see everyone performing a Stage.
Yuuka: Right, when your’re one of the performing members you can’t really see it.
Kana: So…I saw it for the first time and I thought “When was it that Kuumin became such a beauty”? She looked like one of the Shoujo Jidai! (Girls Generation, a K-pop girl group. But let me say it…to me every SKE member is way prettier than them…).
And…Ah, Shiitan looked pretty Shoujo Jidai-ish as well, and so did Yukko’s beauty. So I told Yuuka “Hey, did you notice? Girls like Shiitan and Kuumin really look like they come from Shoujo Jidai!”
Yuuka: Kana-chan, what kind of Jidai do I look like coming from?
Kana: Hmm…Genshi Jidai! (Primitive Times) X°°°°D As I said this, Yuuka praised me!
Airin: Eh!? Why!?
Yuuka: You’re really ready wit, aren’t you, Kana-chan? You don’t usually show it!
Kana: Yeah, even if I said something rude…
Airi: She praised you…!?!?
Kana: She was all “Oh, your reactions got better, Kana-chan!!”
Yuuka: Right, I was moved!
Airi: Is that something one should be moved about…?
Kana: And seeing her being moved, I was moved as well!
Yuuka: Yeah, I thought “Ohh, that’s right, I’m really Genshi Jidai-sh!”
Airi: Hey, what’s with these two!?!?
And then…
Airi: Are you really fine with the Genshi Jidai?
Yuuka: Well, should I go for the Yayoi Jidai?
Airi&Kana: Wouldn’t the Joumon Jidai be better?
Kana: No, let’s choose Australopithecus!
Airi: But then it wouldn’t be a Jidai anymore!

After that they talk about the Nabe-Party Yuuka, Kana, Katsuo, Rumi, Sudachan and Kumi had at Kana’s house.
Apparently, when Yuuka and Rumi reached Kana’s house before the others, GrannyMatsu hugged them enthusiastically!
Then Yuuka said she met Butarou, Kana’s dog!
Kana: Butarou - it’s a she - mistook Yuuka for a male and sticked to her all the time!
Airi: Really?
Yuuka: It’s not like she mistook me for a male!
Kana: No, she definitely did!
Airi: Why? Does she tend to get really attached to males?
Kana: Yeah, she likes boys.
Airi: Ah, I see.
(sorry, I found it funny so…LOL)
Then we come to know that Yuuka was pretty scared of dogs, and Butarou helped her overcoming her fear!
Anyway, seeing how Butarou got close to her, Yuuka thought she could beat Kana.
So they did a game. Everyone of them was holding an apple and they had to see in what direction Butarou would’ve gone.
Yuuka: After all, she immediately went to Kana-chan!
Airi: Really?
Yuuka: Yeah, she was really quick.
Airi: As expected…
Yuuka: We even did it twice, but even the second time she went to Kana-chan!
Kana: I didn’t think she liked me that much so I was about to cry! She’s not usually really attached to me!
Yuuka: It was a shock for me! I thought “Ah, so after all she prefers Kana-chan..”
Kana: I’m glad you came, thank you. I’m happy I was able to understand that (How Butarou loves her XD)
During the party they also played the King Game, and even had to confess to Piita (Kana’s little brother). And poor kid, he got scared by Sudachan’s weirdness and Katsuo’s violence towards Rumi LOL
On the other hand, CharaMatsu (Kana’s big brother) didn’t really interact with them. He got there, and then he leaves quietly LOL
Time for a topic change. Kana asks Airi what she’s being doing lately, so Furukawa-sensei starts talking about the Gugutasu-tan pictures she posts on G+. And then she remembers about something…
Airi: Now that I think about, we were talking about drawing Hapi Hori-tan, but…I haven’t done it yet!!
Yuuka: Draw it please!
Kana: Why don’t you draw it now?
And so…she does! In the end, the HapiHori original character turns out to be…
Horaa-tan!!!

And…Mail corner!
1st and only Mail: I’ve read on Airi’s Ameblog that Akarin gave her some advice on self taken pictures. I’m curious about what kind of advices those were. I’d also like to know what Nishishi and Kana pay attention to while taking pictures of themselves.
Apparently Akari teached Airi how to change the phone settings and modes depending on the place. Then Nishishi’s epicness LOL
Yuuka: I basically don’t really like taking pictures of myself…
Airi: I know what you mean. But then what pics do you post on the blog?
Yuuka: …food.
Kana: Yeah, things!
Yuuka: Also…manga! You know…taking pictures of myself makes me feel sad…Come on, isn’t that just weird!? Let’s say that, by chance, you loose your phone! If someone finds it, they’ll definitely think “Hey, what’s with her!?”
Airi: Yeah, since it would be filled with self taken pictures of oneself!
Yuuka: And…try to objectively see how one looks when they’re taking pics of themselves!! It’s incredibly heart-breaking!!
Kana: You know…among us members, when we go somewhere everyone automatically starts taking pics of themselves, right? One would really think “Hey, what’s with these girls!?!?”
Yuuka: Right.
Kana: But as for us…that’s just something obvious.
Yuuka: When it’s right after a Stage, for example, when my tension is super high, I don’t mind taking pics of myself, but during my everyday life…in the exact moment I’m about to press the button I end up thinking “What the hell am I doing!?”
Airi’s point of view seems to be similar to Nishishi’s and she prefers when it’s someone else taking pics of her.
Then Kana says that when she takes pics of herself at home Piita looks down on her, like “Why are you taking pics of yourself!?!?” LOL
In the end Nishishi said that she’s been told that, while taking pics of oneself, it’s better to look at the camera as if you’re peeping.
Of course, Kana and Airi ask her to do it LOL
After that, Kana reads a fake-mail asking for advice about getting taller.
Airi and Yuuka try to give some advice but in the end they all agree that since she’s past 20 she won’t get taller anymore XD

Airi: You know…I really worry about how my neck is short!
Kana: I never really paid attention to it.
Yuuka: Same for me.

Finally I’m trying to catch up with the latest HapiHori episodes.
Don’t worry, I’ll summarize the two previous ones as well, but I felt like giving priority to this one since it’s full of RenAirin X°D You can find the video here.
Notice that there’s a guest. It’s KKS Suga Nanako. This is the third episode where she appears as a guest.
Nishishi immediately starts saying that today is Aishiteraburu’s release day! (they didn’t record it today, of course, but they know when the episodes are going to start airing on the site)
Airi talks a bit about the PV making, and it looks like the others, at the time of the episode recording, still didn’t know about the dance scenes with them on the platform in the sea! She also talks about the lip-scenes (you know, the members close up parts), saying that everyone was really cute.

Nishishi: Rena was receiving a massage and she was all moaning like “Ah, it hurts” and things like that, while Airin said “Uh, I wonder if it would be okay for me to record it…?” I thought “Woa!”…
Kana: What a pervert.
Nishishi: It would be dangerous if she’d record that and use it as her mail notification, right? So I thought…since she’s such a pervert, maybe it would be better for Rena not to be too close to her. Then, the next day - ah, let me stand up -

1st Request: Furukawa, I’m pretty sure you’re spending days of romance struggle with the new Love Plus and regarding that, there’s a role I’d like you to perform in the “Seiyuu he no michi” corner. Would you do an original character voice that would make every player think they want her as their girlfriend? I’m counting on Nishishi for the male role, of course.
Nishishi: Wait, but wouldn’t be the male character in Love Plus only the player?

After 2 months our experts are back, this time joined by Takayanagi Akane. Today’s discussion will revolves around the movie adaptation, released last month, of the popular light novel 「Maria-sama ga Miteru」. Those past years, girls love stories or those depicting strong bounds between female characters, genre commonly named 「yuri」 , have seen a big increase in 2D works. And 「Marimite」has been the instigator of this influx…. or so I heard.
Takayanagi Akane - As far as I’m concerned, I’ve this image “yuri=Airin” (laugh).
Furukawa Airi - Certainly because I like yuri things. I’ve all the volumes of 「Marimite」at home, I also sometime buy yuri manga. Overall, yuri works are wrapped in a mist of fine art beauty. That’s the key point.
Speaking of which, in Hiramatsu-san Wikipedia page there was this mysterious description that appeared for an hour 「Homosexual (tln: “same gender lover” in the text) who made her coming out」. …. What was that about?
Hiramatsu Kanako - Since I keep saying to Team S Deguchi Aki-chan 「I love you」, someone probably had the wrong idea. Also the day of Yuimin’s birthday (Matsushita Yui, Team S member, president of the 2D enthusiasts association), I called Aki-chan from the hotel room we were staying at together for work. It happened what I was wearing at that time was making it impossible to go out of our room (laugh). (tln: Kanako is here subtly saying she was either naked or in panties lol) And so Yuimin wrote this misleading entry on her blog 「The circumstances of Kanako and Aki phone call are such I can absolutely not speak about it on my blog 」! Well, I’m very close from Aki-chan so it’s not really a big issue. We even promised to each other to go watch the 「Marimite」movie together ♪.
Nakanishi Yuka - 「Marimite」you say? Those uncalled-for suspicions will only increase (laugh).
Kanako - Is that so? But compared to other yuri works, 「Marimite」is quite tone down isn’t it?
Yuka - That’s something I appreciate about 「Marimite」. The relation between Yumi and Sachiko-onee-sama, is it a sibling-like relationship, are they simply 「Soeur」, or is it really love…. There is room for everyone to interpret it as he/she wants.
Airi - Exactly! That’s great when there is room for imagination/delusion, isn’t it? But the truth is I wouldn’t want to enrol in Lilian Girls’ Academy (laugh).
Kanako - Eh~, why?! Looks like such an oujou-sama school, I totally admire those places.
Yuka - On my end too Lilian Girls’ Academy is a bit…. Wouldn’t it feel weird for me to say things like 「Gokigenyou」? (tln : very polite form to greet/part with people)
Kanako - Hum, don’t want.
Yuka - No need to spontaneously agree!!
Nankanishi-san gives this image that she would be popular among person of the same gender, did it actually happened to you to be confessed to by girls?

Kanako - Ehー!? Actually during my high school days, I’ve been confessed to by a member of my tennis club. I was totally taken aback at the time and I flatly declined her…. She was very tomboyish. Much like Nakanishi.
Yuka - Oi!! Well, between SKE members skinship is quite intense so when we grow used to it maybe it lead us to think 「I could date a girl someday」.
Airi - Also, I think the visual factor plays a role. At the very least, I think all members are cute, so I gladly accept the furious skinship (laugh).
Kanako - If it was for beauties of another planet like Sasaki Nozomi or Kitagawa Keiko, I could probably go out with them. But generally speaking, I wouldn’t consider dating another girl. I better say it and make it clear, or my Wikipedia page may be updated again~!!
