Okay, since I got it requested, I’m going to translate part of this Rena wiki. But, first of all let me personally suggest something. The wiki may be useful, but if one  wants to know Rena (or any other member) better, more than relying on a wiki, the best thing to do is to follow her daily, since every single day she reveals something new about herself. The Wota(s) who wrote this article mentioned things taken from Rena’s recent Q&As, from old\not too old\new interviews etc…But of course it was impossible to mention everything so they clearly made choices…That’s why I may add something if I feel like doing it. With sources, of course :)

• The days for her auditions were always the same of Itou Nene.

At that time she called her Nene-san, but now she calls her Mame-chan

• After the end of the auditions, Akimoto Yasushi said “There was a good girl that looked exactly how the Maeda Atsuko of 6 years ago”. People think that he may have referred to Ikuta.

However, making Ikuta the center would’ve turn everything into a copy of AKB, so they didn’t do that.

• It looked like AKB48’s Sashihara Rino likes Ikuta, but in the end she meant Morning Musume’s  Ikuta Erina.
• She bought 2 copies of the BLT Special Nogizaka 46 version in which she appears on the cover.

The other pictures were of Inoue Sayuri and Yamato Rina.

• On December the members received a copy of the second BLT volume and  Ikuta got a picture of Saitou Chiharu.

Shiraishi Mai got Ikuta’s picture and asked her for a sign but she made a mistake and wrote Maiyan Lole instead of Love.

Ogiso Shiori (born on 15\09\1992) is a Japanese Idol and a member of the female Idol group SKE48’s Team KII. Native of the Aichi prefecture, she belongs to AKS’ agency. She formerly worked for the Mikawa Bishoujo Zukan (a local newspaper of the Mikawa area in the Aichi Prefecture)

- A 2nd generation member, Abiru Riho, said her face is as little as sesame (Goma), so she’s been given the nickname of “Goma”.

- Her catchphrase is “My charm point is the small face, I’m Ogiso Shiori, also known as Shiorin, ** years old”. She created it because, after becoming part of Team KII, she wanted to leave some impression and the only thing she could boast about was her small face.

- Her speciality is dance, that she practised since her 4th year of elementary school (6 years of Girls HipHop). However, after joining SKE48, she noticed Kinoshita Yukiko could dance better than her, so it was embarassing, for her, to call it a speciality.

- Among SKE48 members, the one she’s closer to is Kinoshita Yukiko. Since she (Yukiko) got jelous of her relationship with Yuria, to clarify it, Shori wrote on her blog “Yuria is my little sister, Yukko -Kinoshita- is my lover (boyfriend)”. - She may look serious but among SKE members she’s the one who tells dirty jokes the most. SKE has already two perverts: The sexual harasser, Deguchi Aki and the delusional pervert, Furukawa Airi. But aside from them, a new pervert is quickly rcoming out: Ogiso Shiori. During a tv show broadcasted on February 2012, facing the camera she yelled “Ogiso!! Are you telling dirty jokes?”. After that, they revealed Ogiso’s behaviour in the dressing room. According to Mukaida Manatsu “In my Team, KII, there are Akaeda Ririna and Ishida Anna, that are still 15 years old, so they know kinda nothing about - those things -. So they always listen showing a lot of interest, and while everyone pretends not to know anything, Ogiso teach us. In details”.
According to Matsumoto Rina: “Ogiso? She’a s dirty jokes machine!”.
But another shocking truth was revealed during a Stage. Apparently Ogiso told fellow KII member Abiru Riho that her nickname when she was in elementary school was Shimoko (Shimoneta->dirty jokes. Shimoko->Dirty girl).
If that was true, Ogiso must be a natural born pervert.
A flustered Ogiso said “I really was called like that for a period, but it’s not that I like those kind of talks, it’s more like studying! I think that there’s a difference between liking or just having interest in those kind of talks. So, well, you know…”
Looking at how her eyes were swimming around, the reporter decided to stop here the investigation.
Deguchi, Furukawa, Ogiso, the three of them are perverts, in their own ways.

CHILDHOOD

- Born on 15\09\1992. When she was in her mother’s belly her heart stopped beating. The doctor was able to let her reborn through a cardiac massage.

- She has a three years younger little sister, so she’s part of a 4 people family.

- About the origins of her name. Apparently her parents had about other 3 options but when they looked her face she decided it had to be Shiori. One of the other choices was used for her sister’s name.
The name “Shiori” is not rare at all, and even among SKE48 members there are other girls called like that. But “Shiori” written with those Kanji (汐莉) is rare. Apparently her parents chose them paying attention to the stroke count.

- She was born premature so for a while she was raised inside an incubator. They took care of her but she used to wake up hearing big sounds and to not be able to sleep if they didn’t shake her while carrying her in their arms. She also used to cry a lot in the middle of the night, so her childcare was really hard.

- She attended a nursery school for three years. At this time she had her first love and she even gave him chocolate for Valentine’s Day. “He was very popular, so I think I got influenced by the people surrounding me.”

- During her primary school she was bad at arithmetic but she liked to read.

- She was a member of the track and field club. She did her best in the long distance. For a limited period she was also part of the swimming club and the embroidery club. Apparently she already had a small body so she often was the topmost during coordinated group gymnastics.

- She started being interested in acting, so much that she announced her candidacy in order to act during the School arts festival.

- She started practising Girl HipHop on her 6th year of primary school and she continued until she joined SKE48.

- She experienced her first love in this period. There was a boy she liked but, being unable to tell him, she asked her friends to investigate. “I was happy when I heard that apparently he liked me. More than the kind of boys people call cool, I like the cheerful ones. Still, I’m a coward when it comes to love, so I’m a super beginner (laugh)”.

- During her middle school times, her grades were average.

- On her 2nd year of middle school she changed schools and she joined the Tennis club. She devoted herself to the practise, being the kind of person that doesn’t like to lose, but her results were nothing much.

- On her 2nd year of High school she want to watch SKE48 Team S’ Stage and she changed the image she had of Idols. “They were not only cute, they were doing their best at dancing and singing, so I thought I wanted to join too”.

2009

- On November 13 she passed the final auditions for SKE48’s 3rd generation. She had a fever at that time, but since her throat was in good shape it somehow went well. By the way, once it was over, she want to the hospital and was diagnosed with influenza.

- When she was a Kenkyuusei she performed on the stage as a KII members’ under.  “Since I had to master the songs and the choreographies in a short time, after the lessons were finished I kept practising. At that time, a KII senior stayed with me, conforting me if I felt down and treating me just like the others even if I was a Kenkyuusei. After my first stage ended, without even realizing it I started crying, and everyone rushed over me saying I did my best. It’s really the best Team!”
According to Takayanagi “Right after passing the audition she had to perform in Te wo tsunagi nagara Stage. Even if she had to memorize everything in a very short time, she never said [I can’t do it]. When I suggested to take a break she would keep going anyway. I thought she was great. I’m sure it happened to her to feel about to break and even to get depressed once got home but even so, being able to say that, means she really has a strong will. I really admire that side of her, and she made me think we should all do our best. Also, after the first stage ended, she started crying and all the Team KII members rushed over her saying how much she worked hard. I like that kind of atmosphere”.

2010

- On February 25 she was promoted to Team KII (it was SKE48 fastest promotion). “Of course I was very happy, but I knew that me being promoted meant that a lot of other girls didn’t. It happened to have fights with the 3rd gen kenkyuusei, but it was because we had relationships in which we could say each other everything. So I decided to do my best even for them as a Team KII 3rd gen member.

- SKE48’s theatre manager, Yuasa expects great  things from her but she says “I don’t have confidence”. She practised Girls Hip Hop for a long time, but not only dance skills are needed as a SKE member. Important elements are also singing skills and expressions.

- On June, her manifesto for the 2nd Senbatsu Election said she was doing a “Small Face contest”. “Among the people I met until now, there’s nobody that can beat my face small size. If I were to be elected I’d like to use this chance to call out for this contest!”.

- On June 12, 3 days after the end of the Elections, Ichikawa Miori debuted as an AKB48’s 1oth generation member. Since they haven’t met yet, it’s not clear whose face is the smallest.

2011

- On March 9 she was chosen, after a year, as a Senbatsu member for SKE 5th Single, Banzai Venus. “It was, after all, mortifying to be removed from the Senbatsu Members. But I had the pleasure to be Undergirls’ center and I could experience things only an Undergirls could’ve, so I started being thankful for having had the opportunity to be part of the Undergirls. In SKE48 single the song performed by the Senbatsu members may be the main one but as an overall work it is composed also by the Undergirls’ song. So, I’ll recklesslt do my best whether I’m part of the Senbatsu Members or the Undergirls”.

- On June 9 she wasn’t ranked in the 3rd Senbatsu Election.

- On a following interview she expressed her impressions: “I honestly thought it was great for Churi-san (Team KII’s leader) to get ranked and I want to support her. But seeing two fellow 3rd generation members ranked as Undergirls (Hata Sawako, Suda Akari) was a bit frustrating and I couldn’t laugh nor cry.  I just looked at them getting on the stage. I felt like a hole opened inside me, I couldn’t even hear the sounds surrounding me, it was a strange feeling”. How are you going to accept this result? “I’m working hard and I’m confident about my performances, but after all, the chosen girls took better care of their chances. Shawako was able to appear alone in Shuukan AKB and in the Test episode I appeared too.” Hata’s modest personality left a stronger impression. “It was the same Shawako as always. (laugh) But she used that chance and appealed herself with her charm, while I ended up behaving too reserved towards the seniors”.
Then she said this to her fans: “Having fully accepted this results, I’ll renew my feelings. Please, walk together with me towards the next Elections”.

- On July 2, during AKB48’s Everyday Kachuusha’s handshake event, she met Ichikawa Miori and was able to confront her. “Everyone, the staff, the members wanted to know about it and now finally we have an answer to the question [Whose face is smallest? Mine or Ichikawa Miorin’s?], and the answer is that it totally was Fresh Lemon’s victory!”.

- On September 27, during an interview,  Akimoto-sensei said that  Ogiso was the KII member who made more progresses. When they asked him his valutation regarding Ogiso he answered: “I’m still not sure. Basically she’s just like popcorns shaking in the frypan until they pop. If they don’t stay still and keep turning around they’ll burst open, like Hata Sawako that wrote things like “Her blog is funny”, “Shuukan AKB is interesting!”

- On October 1 the first KII original Stage, Ramune no Nomikata, started. “For the Stages we had to perform until now, we had Team S or AKB48 as samples. It’s a totally different things to take a sample and make it ours and to create a completely different thing from the start. We really have nothing right now so we have to produce something. Of course it’s difficult but it’s definitely worth it. I think that, step by step we should finely build landmarks and climb over them”.

- On November 26 she performed in Girl Basara - Sengoku Jidai wa Kengai desu  - a story set in Nagoya in which middle high school girls time slips into the Sengoku era. Arimura Kasumi and Taketomi Seika are part of the movie too. Ogiso’s role was that of Mayu, a classmate of Arimura during her middle school days, interested in history.

2012

- On April 3, the second season of SKE48 no Magical Radio started airing on Nihon TV.

- On April 7 she appeared together with Takayanagi Akane in Hanasaka Disney,  a corner of Hanasaka Times, a CBS’s gossip show.

RELATIONSHIPS

- The members she’s close to are Kinoshita Yukiko and Kizaki Yuria. When they have to stop in hotels for work, even if she has a single room, she ends up sleeping with Yuria.

- The KII members she’s close to are “Mikiti, Anna-chan, Riri-chan, Seira-chan…Oh, I can’t choose!”

- When she was a Kenkyuusei she performed on the stage as a KII members’ under.  “Since I had to master the songs and the choreographies in a short time, after the lessons were finished I kept practising. At that time, a KII senior stayed with me, conforting me if I felt down and treating me just like the others even if I was a Kenkyuusei. After my first stage ended, without even realizing it I started crying, and everyone rushed over me saying I did my best. It’s really the best Team!”

Even if she had to memorize everything in a very short time, she never said [I can’t do it]. When I suggested to take a break she would keep going anyway. I thought she was great. - On February 25 she was promoted to Team KII (it was SKE48 fastest promotion). “Of course I was very happy, but I knew that me being promoted meant that a lot of other girls didn’t. So I decided to do my best even for them as a Team KII 3rd gen member.

- SKE48’s theatre manager, Yuasa expects great  things from her but she says “I don’t have confidence”. She practised Girls Hip Hop for a long time, but not only dance skills are needed as a SKE member. Important elements are also singing skills and expressions.

In SKE48 single the song performed by the Senbatsu members may be the main one but as an overall work it is composed also by the Undergirls’ song. So, I’ll recklesslt do my best whether I’m part of the Senbatsu Members or the Undergirls”.

- On June 9 she wasn’t ranked in the 3rd Senbatsu Election.

- On a following interview she expressed her impressions: “I honestly thought it was great for Churi-san (Team KII’s leader) to get ranked and I want to support her. But seeing two fellow 3rd generation members ranked as Undergirls (Hata Sawako, Suda Akari) was a bit frustrating and I couldn’t laugh nor cry.  I just looked at them getting on the stage. I felt like a hole opened inside me, I couldn’t even hear the sounds surrounding me, it was a strange feeling”. How are you going to accept this result? “I’m working hard and I’m confident about my performances, but after all, the chosen girls took better care of their chances. Shawako was able to appear alone in Shuukan AKB and in the Test episode I appeared too.” Hata’s modest personality left a stronger impression. “It was the same Shawako as always. - She started being interested in acting, so much that she announced her candidacy in order to act during the School arts festival.

- She started practising Girl HipHop on her 6th year of primary school and she continued until she joined SKE48.

- She experienced her first love in this period. There was a boy she liked but, being unable to tell him, she asked her friends to investigate. “I was happy when I heard that apparently he liked me. More than the kind of boys people call cool, I like the cheerful ones. Still, I’m a coward when it comes to love, so I’m a super beginner (laugh)”.

- During her middle school times, her grades were average.

- On her 2nd year of middle school she changed schools and she joined the Tennis club. She devoted herself to the practise, being the kind of person that doesn’t like to lose, but her results were nothing much.

- On her 2nd year of High school she want to watch SKE48 Team S’ Stage and she changed the image she had of Idols. “They were not only cute, they were doing their best at dancing and singing, so I thought I wanted to join too”.

2009

- On November 13 she passed the final auditions for SKE48’s 3rd generation. She had a fever at that time, but since her throat was in good shape it somehow went well. By the way, once it was over, she want to the hospital and was diagnosed with influenza.

- When she was a Kenkyuusei she performed on the stage as a KII members’ under.  “Since I had to master the songs and the choreographies in a short time, after the lessons were finished I kept practising. At that time, a KII senior stayed with me, conforting me if I felt down and treating me just like the others even if I was a Kenkyuusei. After my first stage ended, without even realizing it I started crying, and everyone rushed over me saying I did my best. It’s really the best Team!”
According to Takayanagi “Right after passing the audition she had to perform in Te wo tsunagi nagara Stage. Even if she had to memorize everything in a very short time, she never said [I can’t do it]. When I suggested to take a break she would keep going anyway. I thought she was great. I’m sure it happened to her to feel about to break and even to get depressed once got home but even so, being able to say that, means she really has a strong will. I really admire that side of her, and she made me think we should all do our best. Also, after the first stage ended, she started crying and all the Team KII members rushed over her saying how much she worked hard. I like that kind of atmosphere”.

2010

- On February 25 she was promoted to Team KII (it was SKE48 fastest promotion). “Of course I was very happy, but I knew that me being promoted meant that a lot of other girls didn’t. It happened to have fights with the 3rd gen kenkyuusei, but it was because we had relationships in which we could say each other everything. So I decided to do my best even for them as a Team KII 3rd gen member.

- SKE48’s theatre manager, Yuasa expects great  things from her but she says “I don’t have confidence”. She practised Girls Hip Hop for a long time, but not only dance skills are needed as a SKE member. Important elements are also singing skills and expressions.

- On June, her manifesto for the 2nd Senbatsu Election said she was doing a “Small Face contest”. “Among the people I met until now, there’s nobody that can beat my face small size. If I were to be elected I’d like to use this chance to call out for this contest!”.

- On June 12, 3 days after the end of the Elections, Ichikawa Miori debuted as an AKB48’s 1oth generation member. Since they haven’t met yet, it’s not clear whose face is the smallest.

2011

- On March 9 she was chosen, after a year, as a Senbatsu member for SKE 5th Single, Banzai Venus. “It was, after all, mortifying to be removed from the Senbatsu Members. But I had the pleasure to be Undergirls’ center and I could experience things only an Undergirls could’ve, so I started being thankful for having had the opportunity to be part of the Undergirls. In SKE48 single the song performed by the Senbatsu members may be the main one but as an overall work it is composed also by the Undergirls’ song. So, I’ll recklesslt do my best whether I’m part of the Senbatsu Members or the Undergirls”.

- On June 9 she wasn’t ranked in the 3rd Senbatsu Election.

- On a following interview she expressed her impressions: “I honestly thought it was great for Churi-san (Team KII’s leader) to get ranked and I want to support her. But seeing two fellow 3rd generation members ranked as Undergirls (Hata Sawako, Suda Akari) was a bit frustrating and I couldn’t laugh nor cry.  I just looked at them getting on the stage. I felt like a hole opened inside me, I couldn’t even hear the sounds surrounding me, it was a strange feeling”. How are you going to accept this result? “I’m working hard and I’m confident about my performances, but after all, the chosen girls took better care of their chances. Shawako was able to appear alone in Shuukan AKB and in the Test episode I appeared too.” Hata’s modest personality left a stronger impression. “It was the same Shawako as always. (laugh) But she used that chance and appealed herself with her charm, while I ended up behaving too reserved towards the seniors”.
Then she said this to her fans: “Having fully accepted this results, I’ll renew my feelings. Please, walk together with me towards the next Elections”.

- On July 2, during AKB48’s Everyday Kachuusha’s handshake event, she met Ichikawa Miori and was able to confront her. “Everyone, the staff, the members wanted to know about it and now finally we have an answer to the question [Whose face is smallest? Mine or Ichikawa Miorin’s?], and the answer is that it totally was Fresh Lemon’s victory!”.

- On September 27, during an interview,  Akimoto-sensei said that  Ogiso was the KII member who made more progresses. When they asked him his valutation regarding Ogiso he answered: “I’m still not sure. Basically she’s just like popcorns shaking in the frypan until they pop. If they don’t stay still and keep turning around they’ll burst open, like Hata Sawako that wrote things like “Her blog is funny”, “Shuukan AKB is interesting!”

- On October 1 the first KII original Stage, Ramune no Nomikata, started. “For the Stages we had to perform until now, we had Team S or AKB48 as samples. It’s a totally different things to take a sample and make it ours and to create a completely different thing from the start. We really have nothing right now so we have to produce something. Of course it’s difficult but it’s definitely worth it. I think that, step by step we should finely build landmarks and climb over them”.

- On November 26 she performed in Girl Basara - Sengoku Jidai wa Kengai desu  - a story set in Nagoya in which middle high school girls time slips into the Sengoku era. Arimura Kasumi and Taketomi Seika are part of the movie too. Ogiso’s role was that of Mayu, a classmate of Arimura during her middle school days, interested in history.

2012

- On April 3, the second season of SKE48 no Magical Radio started airing on Nihon TV.

- On April 7 she appeared together with Takayanagi Akane in Hanasaka Disney,  a corner of Hanasaka Times, a CBS’s gossip show.

RELATIONSHIPS

- The members she’s close to are Kinoshita Yukiko and Kizaki Yuria. When they have to stop in hotels for work, even if she has a single room, she ends up sleeping with Yuria.

- The KII members she’s close to are “Mikiti, Anna-chan, Riri-chan, Seira-chan…Oh, I can’t choose!”

- About her relationship with Kuwabara Mizuki: “She’s never quiet and acts like a boss of some kids’ group, but she helps everyone matching the dance moves, she’s always available to talk if we’re worrying about something and gives us advice. She’s a reliable senior”.

- A member she esteems is AKB48’s Ooshima Yuuko.

- If she could switch places with someone for a day, she’d like to be Kuwabara Mizuki. “Because I’d like to know how a fish can breath on the shore”.

- In the beginning Yagami Kumi had a hard time remembering Ogiso’s name.

PERSONALITY - HOBBIES

- She’s shy. Fans often call her a tsundere, but she doesn’t think she’s one. According to Iwasa-san: “She’s obstinate. She protects other members”.

- Her hobbies are karaoke and girls talks.

- Her speciality is saying tongue twisters.

- Her virtue is the fact that she’s surprisingly loyal. She’s serious and methodical.

- Her weak point is her shyness.

- The food she likes are: Monjayaki, Hamburgers, dishes with Nattou.

- She’s not good at cooking. A dish she’s good at making is Medamayaki.  Her
favorite menu is butter soy sauce rice.

- Her favorite TV show is Shabekuri 007.

- Her favorite　light stick color is white.

- An AKB song she likes is BINGO.

- Her type of boy is a gentle reliable person. Someone with a big heart.

- About the kind of people she doesn’t like: “I’d say egoistic people. I want others to care about their surroundings, and I want to be like that too”.

- Her ideal date would be at an Amusement Park, or somewhere outdoors.

- She has a fetish for collarbones. “I like it when the outline stands out!”. She likes Yakata Miki’s collarbone.

- About her little sister: “We have different appearance and personality, and our tastes and way of thinking are different too”. In the past they used to fight often, but recently they don’t do that anymore.

- She has the habit of sniffing her own hair. “I like how my hair’s smell. It’s a good smell”.

- Her eyesight is bad so she wears contact lens.

- About her waist: “There really isn’t any narrow part! I have a childish figure!”.
